We’re looking for enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join the Cafe Crew at Wheelhouse Coffee, part of Mountain Bike Rotorua!

As a member of the Cafe Crew, you’ll ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, crafting great coffee, preparing food items, and delivering exceptional service in a vibrant café setting. Whether you’re blending smoothies, managing inventory, or working with the team to keep things running smoothly, you’ll be at the heart of our operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver excellent customer service.

• Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food items.

• Maintain a clean and welcoming café environment.

• Operate our Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.

• Assist with inventory management to minimize waste and ensure availability.

• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

As a crew member of MBR Café Operations you will be expected to:

• Operate Wheelhouse Coffee

• Provide the best customer service in the industry

• Undertake accurate Point of Sale operations, including cashing up

• Ensuring that all beverages are made to the highest of standards

• Basic food prep and presentation

• Food hygiene and maintaining a clean work space

 

Health and Safety

• Adopt a positive and focused approach to health and safety in the workplace, to ensure active steps are taken to ensure own wellbeing and wellbeing of others.

• Follow all MBR health and safety practices, systems, and processes.

• Carry out required reporting for hazards, accidents, and incidents.

• Continually seek to isolate and eliminate hazards.

• Wear all required PPE
